AMDG Energy exists to be a light of trustworthiness in an industry that is oversaturated with misinformation. Our founder, Brad Michelle, began AMDG Energy because he saw a great industry getting damaged by a toxic sales culture that maximized profit and minimized responsibility to the customer.

At AMDG Energy, we believe that “when it’s done right, solar wins every single time.” We want to help people achieve energy independence, and get away from electric utility bills that continue to bloat from inflation. We value transparency, and we want our customers to have the greatest experience possible when making the leap to solar energy. Switching to solar energy has never been easier, but it is still a big decision. We believe that the sales process is relational, NOT simply transactional. Because of this, we tend to shy away from traditional “marketing” strategies and put relationships first - partnering with local tradesworkers, mortgage lenders, realtors, and people in similar positions to offer their clients the incredible value of energy independence.

Our base of operations is in Columbus, OH, although we have installation options in most of the continental United States. We’ve also recently expanded to be able to offer commercial installations, and are looking into other energy options, such as wind and geothermal energy credits, for the occasional client who doesn’t qualify for solar energy.

~What Does AMDG Stand For?~

AMDG is an acronym for the Latin phrase, “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam”, which translates “for the greater glory of God”. We seek to honor God and his creation in all we do, and we count our blessings daily. Faith and family come before all else, and we see and treat our clients as people deserving respect and dignity. We see solar energy as a means to being “good stewards” in caring for creation, as well as being “good stewards” of our financial resources. Money saved on electricity bills is money that can be put towards building a legacy - putting kids and grandkids through college and being able to give more freely to those in need.
